Hi, I'm Joy—welcome to Joy's Travel Adventures! I love sharing the latest in travel, style, and lifestyle—with a front-row seat to all the best tips, destinations, and experiences. Through my fun and informative travel videos, I aim to inspire and guide fellow adventurers like you.

I've been lucky enough to explore 27 countries and most of the U.S., both on my own and with my family. Along the way, I’ve written for a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper, Coastal Traveler, the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Healthcare Traveler magazine. I also share personal and client travel stories on my blog, Pure, Unadulterated Joy, which has ranked consistently on page one of Google. One of my proudest moments was being honored with the "Spirit of Adventure" award from Youth Hostels of America.

Before launching into the travel world full-time, I worked for Alaska and Delta Airlines. My first job in entertainment I wrote and appeared in the infomercial Beating the High Cost of Travel with travel expert Tom Parsons and radio legend Casey Kasem.

Over the years, I’ve completed more than 40 destination and vendor certifications through one of the country’s top-rated travel agencies. As a certified travel writer, host, and videographer—and now an independent travel agent working with an amazing team—I’m here to help you create your perfect trip.
